u-restrict-etc NcFTPd general.cf file configuration
Don't forget to restart NcFTPd after modifying the general.cf file.

NcFTPd 2.5.0 and up now restricts access to the /etc directory for regular users (i.e. not restricted users), with the exception of the root user.

You now can benefit by limiting access to the system directory without going to the trouble of restricting users to their home directory only. If you don't want this behavior, you can disable it by setting it to no.
