Don't forget to restart NcFTPd after modifying the general.cf file.

This option can be used to restrict unprivileged (not root) but unrestricted users to areas of the filesystem. For example, you may not want to restrict users to their home directory, but you would like them to be able to access any file their UID/GID allows them to in the entire filesystem except /etc, /var, and /usr/local/etc.
